Code access

If you are receiving malicious calls or just a large number of nuisance phone calls, you may like to get trueCall to further restrict the incoming calls you receive.
  • You can set trueCall to block all incoming calls - this effectively turns your phone line into an ‘outgoing call only’ line.
  • You can set trueCall to send all incoming callers to trueCall’s Message Manager, which will ask them to leave a message.
  • You can set trueCall to only allow specific callers to ring your phone. You control this by selecting a Caller’s code - a number up to 8 digits in length. You only give this code out to people who you trust and want to hear from. When a call arrives, trueCall asks the caller to enter your caller’s code. If they enter the correct code your phone rings as usual. trueCall allows the caller three attempts, but if they still haven’t entered the correct code, trueCall will say ‘Goodbye’ and hang up on them.
In all cases, trueCall still keeps a log of who called you.

These features are all turned off by default, but can be turned on at your Internet Control Panel.
