Starred callers only


If you are receiving malicious calls or just a large number of nuisance phone calls, you may like to get trueCall to only allow specific callers to ring your phone.

If the Starred Callers Only feature is switched on, trueCall will only allow callers who are on your Star list to get directly through to you.

When a call arrives, trueCall checks the caller’s number. If the caller is on your Star list, your phone will ring as usual, but all other callers are intercepted, and they don’t ring your phone. You can choose how they are handled:
  • You can let them just hear ringing (which makes it sound as though you are not home)
  • You can send them to trueCall’s Message Manager, which will ask them to leave a message
Starred Callers Only is turned off by default, but can be turned on at your Internet Control Panel.
